ShareFuse Privacy Policy

Last Revision: 19/12/2025

ShareFuse is committed to strong, secure, and transparent privacy practices. We do our best to protect your privacy and avoid any misuse of your personal data. Because we value your privacy and want our services to be safe and reliable for everyone:

  • We never sell personal data to third parties.
  • We process data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
  • You remain in control of your personal information at all times.

This Privacy Policy explains:

  • What information we collect and why
  • How we use, share and protect that information

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Our customers (and their internal users, "Customer Users")
  • End-users of our customers ("End-Users") who interact with our customers' Social Profiles on Supported Platforms

This policy should be read together with any privacy policy published by a Customer and the privacy policies of the Supported Platforms. If you have questions or complaints, contact us at admin@sharefuse.app.

1. Who is ShareFuse?

ShareFuse Ltd (T/A ShareFuse) ("ShareFuse") is a company headquartered in Australia, AU. ShareFuse provides a software application (the "Service") that helps businesses and agencies ("Customer(s)") manage their Social Profiles.

The Service enables Customers to consolidate Social Profiles in one place, manage incoming messages and comments, schedule and publish content, analyse results, and monitor public conversations on Supported Platforms based on keywords chosen by the Customer.

ShareFuse complies with applicable privacy laws.

2. Information we collect and process

We collect and process several kinds of information, including personal data ("Customer Data"):

  • Customer Personal Data: data we collect from Customers and Customer Users to provide and administer the Service.
  • Customer Content: data we process on behalf of Customers, such as content generated, requested or published via Supported Platforms by Customers, and End-User messages the Customer monitors or collects using the Service. Customers control how their Customer Content is collected and used.

We do not collect or process sensitive personal data via the Service.

2.1 Customer Personal Data

When you register for a ShareFuse account and when you use the Service, we may collect:

  • full name
  • email address
  • company name
  • company address
  • company phone number
  • Social Profile URLs you connect to the Service
  • content you've published on Social Profiles connected to the Service
  • communications you send to us (queries, feedback, support requests)

We also automatically collect device and usage information, including IP address, browser and device type, operating system, access times, referring web pages, and page interactions. We use cookies and related technologies (see Section 3).

How we use Customer Personal Data:

  • identify and authenticate you when you log in
  • operate and provide the Service
  • verify transactions, handle billing, and support security and authentication (including tokens for Supported Platforms)
  • analyze usage and improve the Site and Service
  • provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • send service communications, updates, newsletters, surveys, offers and other information you have requested or that may be relevant
  • market and sell the Service
  • diagnose problems, analyse trends and improve functionality and usability
  • maintain the safety and security of the Service

2.2 Customer Content

When a Customer connects a Social Profile to the Service, they may choose to collect and access that Social Profile through the Service (subject to the Supported Platforms' terms and policies). This allows Customer Users to retrieve, analyse and manage content from Supported Platforms and to create, post, transmit, view or share content via the Service.

Types of Customer Content:

  • Customer-generated content (messages, posts, comments, profile pictures, images, feeds)
  • End-User messages and names
  • End-User Social Profile URLs on Supported Platforms
  • Supported Platforms user IDs

How we use Customer Content:

  • identify the author of an End-User message
  • aggregate messages from the same person and provide conversation history between an End-User and a Customer
  • provide the Service in accordance with Customer instructions

Third-Party Apps and Social Networks

The Service enables connections to Supported Platforms. When you send content to a Supported Platform via the Service, ShareFuse is not responsible for that content once it is transferred to the Supported Platform; the platform's terms and privacy policy will apply. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any Supported Platform you use via the Service. Examples:

2.3 Revoking access to Supported Platforms

The Service relies on connections to Supported Platforms and their APIs. To prevent ShareFuse from accessing data from Social Profiles you previously connected, revoke access in the relevant platform settings:

3. Cookies and related technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (web beacons, pixels, software tokens) to operate and improve the Site and Service, remember login sessions, analyse aggregate usage, and support advertising and analytics partners.

By using the Site or Service you consent to cookies in your browser and HTML emails.

3.1 Session cookies

We use session cookies to store information from your current visit (for example, login session). These cookies help provide the Service and typically expire after a short period. Without them some Service features will not work.

3.2 Performance and remarketing cookies

Third-party partners may place cookies for analytics and advertising purposes. We may share a cryptographic hash of a common identifier (for example, an email address) with ad partners to measure and tailor advertising.

Most browsers let you control cookie settings. If you block cookies, some features of the Site and Service may be unavailable. For more on managing cookies, visit www.allaboutcookies.org. You can also review opt-out tools such as the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out: http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp

Software tokens stored on ShareFuse-controlled servers are used to support authentication and interaction with Supported Platforms.

4. How we secure your information

We use industry-standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure and destruction. Examples of measures we implement include:

  • restricting access to data to a limited number of ShareFuse employees
  • encrypting data in transit (HTTPS/SSL)
  • firewalls and IP restrictions to protect servers
  • logical access controls so each Customer only accesses information for the Social Profiles they track
  • the use of third-party hosting and security vendors (for example, Google Cloud)
  • working with PCI-DSS compliant payment processors for credit-card transactions
  • periodic review of our data collection and processing practices

Although we take reasonable measures to protect information, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. ShareFuse cannot be held liable for unauthorized access, use or disclosure except where caused by gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud or bad faith by ShareFuse.

5. Children

ShareFuse does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover a user under 13, we will remove that user's information and limit future access.

6. Your rights: access, correction, deletion, objection

You may object to processing of your personal data and withdraw consent at any time, subject to applicable law. Withdrawing consent may terminate your ability to use the Service.

To request modification or deletion of your information, email admin@sharefuse.app from the email address you used to create your account and include your full name and the URL(s) of Social Profiles you have connected to the Service. Certain data may be retained where necessary for legitimate business purposes or required by law.

Please note that ShareFuse acts as a conduit between Customers and Supported Platforms. Content published via ShareFuse to a Supported Platform may remain available on that platform under the platform operator's control.

7. Disclosure of information

We do not rent or sell Customer Personal Data or Customer Content. We may disclose personal information to trusted third parties in the circumstances described below, with your consent by using our Service, or where required by law:

  • to comply with legal obligations or court orders
  • to investigate, detect, prevent or address fraud, security or technical issues, or breaches of our Terms of Service
  • to protect ShareFuse's rights, property or safety, or that of others
  • to parent companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures or other companies under common control
  • to an acquirer or successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets (subject to obligations to protect personal data)

8. Notices and revisions

If you have concerns about your privacy, email us at admin@sharefuse.app with a detailed description of your concerns. We will attempt to resolve issues within a reasonable time.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will be posted at https://www.sharefuse.app/privacy and will govern our use of information collected through the Service.
